Michael Montuori first came to Pelican Harbor as a young child, visiting most weeks for pelican feedings - an experience which sparked a love for animals and nature, and which eventually led him to volunteer. After years of volunteer work, Michael joined the team full time as Operations & IT Manager in 2024.

Michael attended Design and Architecture Senior High, and graduated from the School for Advanced Studies. He was quickly recruited to operate a recording studio in Little Haiti where he worked on advertising campaigns, national tours, artist residencies, and maintenance. Michael’s path through the music industry also includes years of live performance, and stage managing for III Points music festival.

Before joining Pelican Harbor, Michael operated a wellness facility and retail space with a focus on natural medicine and care for disabled Veterans. Today, he spends his free time enjoying sci-fi and fantasy, working on art and music, and enjoying nature.
