Erika Rix - Accounting Coordinator

Erika Rix brings nearly three decades of analytical expertise and a deep passion for wildlife preservation to her role as Accounting Coordinator at Pelican Harbor Seabird Station. Erika graduated with a degree in Computer Data Processing from the Faculdade Capixaba de Informática in Brazil in 1996 and has spent her career specializing in finance and accounting—including nearly a decade managing complex tax structures within the wireless prepaid telecommunications sector.

Driven by a lifelong love for numbers and nature, Erika thrives in environments where her financial precision directly supports a greater mission. Outside of managing the organization's accounting tasks, she is an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves riding bikes, paddleboarding, and camping. She is proud to contribute to the growth of Pelican Harbor Seabird Station and stands as a dedicated cheerleader for every animal rescued, rehabilitated, and successfully released back into the wild.
