Julio isaza

Julio Isaza hails from a prominent Colombian family with a rich history. His grandfather, Salvador Camacho, served as the Colombian Consul at the end of World War II. His father, Alvaro Isaza, was the chairman of the renowned Colombian company Carulla for over a decade. Carulla was sold to the French group Casino in the year 2007. The family has been involved in the development of the Colombian Stock Exchange, since the year 1928.

Julio pursued his education at prestigious institutions, earning an Industrial Engineering degree from Los Andes University, and an MBA from the Inalde School of Business. He currently holds a 20% stake in the family company, Inversiones Isaza Camacho, which was established in 1975. This company has diversified investments both in Colombia and the United States and has served as the vehicle that the family uses to keep its investments.
